    Christian was born in seventh heaven and lived there for 31 years and nine months. By pure chance, and without deserving it, he received all the gifts a human could hope for. He was born into a family filled with love and warmth, in the most beautiful country in the world. He had a father who played with him in the street, the field, or the basement. A younger brother, adopted “because he wanted a little brother,” who introduced him to the beauty of children. He married the most beautiful woman in the world, the one he had loved since his early teens. He had a long and successful career in radio and television, despite disastrous “studies.” He saw his dream of fatherhood come true when the love of his life was pregnant with twins, Félix and Marie—healthy, beautiful, and bright. Everything was going so well; he never thought it necessary to build a shield to protect himself from the misfortunes of fate.

    Then, at the age of 31 and eight months, he died.

    Marie, his little girl, was taken away unexpectedly, and died in his arms—a fatal blow. Faced with this unbearable and excruciating pain, there were two solutions: to join her where she was (suicide) or to rebuild his life. He chose the second option, thinking he could do it with “help.” Alcohol. Yes, he managed to rebuild his destiny, eliminating the cancers of resentment, envy, jealousy, arrogance, and lies. But every day, at the same time, he was digging his own grave. A 21-day therapy saved his life and finally answered the one question that had haunted him: Why Marie? He would find the answer and emerge from his slump through the grand door.
